Hello All,
I will be running a space game on Sunday 21st. Anyone interested in playing please send me an email so i can split the forces evenly.
The game itself is devised from a set of rules of my own creation and i will be giving players a quick breakdown on the day. The game was originally designed to accomodate races from the stargate universe but has been expanded to include other forces and other models. As a warning the game is played in a 2D style meaning no changes in height and players will require the use of D20's and a ruler.
Looking forward to Sunday.

14-06-2009 South of Tyreath Ford.
Several days ago the alien influenced invaders got across the river at Tyreath ford. Reconnaissance suggests they are crossing in three locations several hundred yards apart, though how they built the apparent bridges either side of the original ones is still a mystery.
The failed strike on the attackers now means that at least several hundred, if not a couple of thousand `Z’s are across the river and spreading out through the countryside. A few drones have also been spotted.
The lead elements are moving South East towards the nearby army logistics base. There is little more than a maintenance section there, & they have been bringing some old artillery pieces up to operational standard.
The Government has decided that the base needs to be held as its repair facilities may prove important in the long term. They are therefore despatching your units to the location to reinforce it and clear the large Z group in the vicinity. Once held this will become a firebase for the South and East.
Enough artillery pieces have now been refurbished to issue one to every unit. Given the beating that the Z’s appear to be capable of handing out when cure rounds are not available this is very high priority. Other equipment may also be available.
The enemy elements are approaching from the NW, your troops will approach from the NE or SW (depending on who is available).
Players who could participate in this game are John, Peter C, Trevor, Peter D, Paul B and Simon P. Grateful if you would let me know if you are going to be there.
