Sarmatia

  In
Sarmatia there is a King, of a land called
Ning, it was also very unfortunate that his name was Ching. Now this chap
really hated being called the King Ching of Ning. One day after gutting another
warrior who sniggered behind his back he decided enough was enough! The little
chip on his shoulder said “the only thing to do was to become an Emperor! Scythia, that’s a cool name”…So…

  Gaul

  King
WallyEam spoke to his most trusted advisors “I think Anglia
is ripe for the plucking hee honh?” to which they all replied "Hoorah Hee Honh!" rather
loudly. However, there was one voice belonging to Duke Duky that said "its a
Bad Idea as a new King is now ruling Anglia and he looks a bit tasty hee Honh". King WallyEam thought about this and said "those
wimps in Varangia look soft and ripe for the plucking"…So…

  Rome

  Caesar
Flagalaetus Bottomus put down his paddle and looked out from his balcony, there
in the distance on this clear day he could just make out the dim outline of the
pretty little island
of Corsica. It reminded
him of something his botomist had said regarding a cane-like plant that’s found
nowhere else and it had a rather pleasant twinging noise when moved through the
air rapidly…So…

  Atlantis

  Emperor
Minge- “Clitus I’m Bored”

Clitus - “well, the Carthaginians are laughing at you”

  Emperor
Minge- “Are they, why?”

Clitus - “they’ve nicked half our name, called it Atlas & making Lppprrr noises at
us”

  Emperor
Minge- “Atlas? Sounds greek to me, assemble the armies!”

…So…

  Carthage

  King
Hadital was in his garden “what a beautiful day, the sun is out, the people are
happy, I got 'some' last night, its Good to be the King!” Just then a General
arrived with a message. “Your majesty, we have the King form Atalantis &
the Pharoh from Egypt and they have just reached our borders”. “wonderful” exclaimed the
King “we’ll have a party!”. To which the General replied “err, they bought
their armies”…Oh…

  Babylon & Assyria

  Babylon- “We need more
room for the peasants they’re REVOLTING ”

Assyria- “We need more room for the peasants they’re REVOLTING ”

  Babylon- “Lets not
antagonise our Northerners, it upsets them”.

Assyria- ““Lets not antagonise our Southerners, it upsets
them”.

  Babylon- “The Nile
stinks”

  Assyria-
“Sarmatia stinks”

Babylon- Assyria “ANATOLIA IS NICE THIS TIME OF YEAR!”…So…

  Anglia

  Arthur- “That
island, Atlantis” General- “yes your Majesty?” Arthur- “you know that its really called Avalon,
our mystical ancestral home” General- "is it, and so?” Arthur- “yes, and 'so' indeed!” …So…

  Egypt

  Pharaoh
Notfartiti woke up, stood and stretched on his royal balcony then took a deep
deep breath of the fresh Nile air…then turned a peculiar shade of blue as he
realised that he had just taken a deep deep breath of the fresh Nile air…and it stank! Just
then he heard a banshee like waling and reached for his sword ready to defend himself…realised it was
just his wife Ashmuk’u’r and groaned “I need to get out of here”…So…

  Thracia

  The
Mighty Macedonian army from Thracia crossed over in a lightning attack into
Dalmatia, future historians would marvel at the speed, logistics and the
devastating force of this conquest, they would not however note what King Takamia
Houstonos was heard to say “why have the people not got black spots all over
them?...”

  Results

Carthage to defend against Atlantian &
Egyptian armies.

Babylon & Assyria to battle
for Anatolia

Anglia
takes Hesparidia

Gaul
takes Varangia

Roma takes Corsica

Sarmatia takes Scythia

Thracia takes Dalmatia

Other results will follow after
battles…this may take some time as people need to get used to a few battles
before committing to a campaign battle.

I am going to be running a new High Ancients campaign (again) as the previous campaign is over. I will be using a cut down version of Warmaster Ancients which I will be supplying so you do not need to worry about rules or army lists.
It will be in 15mm and 1500 points, so if you have army lists from before they will not have changed so you may use them.
Please reply to me asap as first come first serve for area’s and armies belonging to that area. I’ll try to not put Egyptians in England and Anglo Saxons in Asia Minor. I do have Atlantis that can catch ONE exotic army such as Classical Indians or Chinese even though we are playing in Europe, Asia Minor and the Med.
This campaign will supported by our new website and this Noticeboard so look out for progress, battles, write ups and feel free to “compliment” one another and share the love...
Rgds
Madan the ever hopeful…
